Shipping Policy

Each piece at HYPH-N is made to order, before shipping, our pieces CAN take 2-6 weeks to be made and sent off AND IS HEAVILY DEPENDANT ON CURRENT PRODUCTION LOAD AND STOCK ON HAND. Everything is shipped in compostable mailers, standard shipping $12 and express $17. Free shipping on all orders over $300. WE CURRENTLY DO NOT OFFER INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING BUT FEEL FREE TO CONTACT US DIRECTLY TO DISCUSS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FOR OUR PIECES.

Domestic Australian areas with standard postage | 3-10 days. 

Domestic Australia areas with express postage | 2-5 days. 

WE REQUIRE a signature on delivery, the postal service IS NOT authorised to complete delivery WITHOUT THE SIGNATURE OF THE RECIPIENT. If there is no one home TO SIGN FOR THE it will be transported to the post office for collection, with notification left for the receiver. If your parcel has been scanned as delivered yet you have not received it, please contact your local postal service with your tracking number and they will investigate the location of delivery.

Returns, Refunds & Alterations

Each HYPH-N piece is made to order specifically for the customer who purchased it. Once an order has been placed and production has begun, we do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or because you decide the style, colour or fit does not suit you.

Please review the product information, sizing details and measurements carefully before placing your order.

Fit and Alterations

Should you be unhappy with the fit or require adjustments based on personal preference, please contact us at contact@hyph-n.com.au to discuss a possible solution.

Alterations that are not required because of a fault or production error will be charged at an hourly rate. Alterations may be arranged by email or completed in person at our studio. Any applicable alteration, postage or delivery costs will be discussed and approved before work begins.

Deadstock Materials

HYPH-N works with deadstock and limited-run materials as part of our commitment to reducing textile waste and keeping existing fabrics in circulation.

Because of the nature of these materials, minor variations or imperfections may be present, including irregularities in weave, texture, colour, print or finish. These characteristics are part of what makes each garment unique and are not generally considered faults when they have been disclosed or are consistent with the nature of the material.

Should your garment contain damage or an imperfection that appears excessive, was not disclosed, or falls outside the expected characteristics of the material, please contact us so that we can review it.

Incorrect or Faulty Items

We inspect each garment before it is sent. However, should you receive an incorrect item or believe your garment has a genuine fault, please email contact@hyph-n.com.au with:

  • Your name and order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs showing the issue

Once the item has been assessed, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund where required.

Damage caused by normal wear and tear, an accident, misuse, incorrect garment care or failure to follow the care instructions is not considered a manufacturing fault.

Please contact us before returning an item so that we can review the issue and provide return instructions.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
